‘In the Grey Scale’ is the fascination of photographer Li Gang. The 44 years old contemporary Chinese artist has a close relationship with Australia. He studied in Perth and completed degree at VCA in Melbourne. Since returning to Beijing in the late 1990s, he has maintained a diverse practice, which includes painting, sculpture and photography.

Li Gang had his photographic works—In the Grey Scale exhibited at Melbourn art of Gallery in Sep-Nov 2010. This year the exhibition will come to Australia again from Jul 2011-Jun 2012 as part of the Year of Chinese Culture in Australia.
